Peristaltic Pump
This self priming, positive displacement pump has a variable speed drive of 30-600 RPM that delivers up to 36 gallons per hour (2.3 liters per minute). Used on small, extended service applications, up to 30 amps. Comes supplied with 6 feet (1.8 meters) of 1/4 inch (0.64 cm) I.D. Tygon tubing.
Available in 115 volt/50/60Hz or 220 volt/50/60Hz. Specifications: approx. 1.5 amp.
Special Purpose Tooling
The versa-plater is a touch-up tool consisting of one platinum clad niobium anode, corresponding handle and prefabricated anode sleeve.
The anode's shape and flexibility enable coverage of a wide variety of profiles and narrow areas. Platinum clad niobium will not contaminate the plated deposit or the plating solution as carbon anodes do. In addition, the platinum provides improved conductivity over carbon, and it is virtually permanent.
Multi-Jack Output Connector
In a typical shop environment, the operator must stop between preparatory and preplate steps to switch over the lead wires or handles while simultaneously adjusting the voltage and/or polarity. This can cause delays that lead to adhesion failure. LDC's new multi-jack output connector helps greatly reduce these time delays.
With the multi-jack output connector in place, each preparatory and preplate anode (up to 4) can be fitted with a handle and connected to an output lead (prior to starting a plating operation). Once the plating technician begins a job, he need only to pick up the appropriate tool, and focus on adjusting the voltage and/or polarity when necessary.
The multi-jack output connector is available in small (rated up to 30 amps), medium (rated up to 125 amps) and large (rated up to 250 amps).
For added convenience, LDC has a kit available consisting of the multi-jack output connector and 4 each output leads (6 ft. long). The output lead kit can be customized specifically to fit your plating tools.
The LDC Process Instruction Manual
This manual is an indispensable tool for every brush plater using the LDC Process. The manual introduces, defines, and illustrates the LDC Process of portable selective electroplating.
The manual is broken into 11 sections. Each section discusses the latest advances in selective electroplating. These include definitions, formulas, power packs, tools, wraps, solutions, as well as preparing, plating and evaluating.

Mini Solution Pump
The ideal solution pump for those smaller jobs that do not require a large heating/filtering pump unit.
Specifications are:
- Size - 2 1/4 inches long, 2 inches high, 1 1/2 inches in width.
- Energy efficient, lightweight, fully submersible.
- 115 Volts AC, 5 Watts.
- Adjustable flow rate, up to 1 gallon per minute.
- Comes with 6 feet of 1/4 inch clear Tygon tubing and solution container.
Simplified Plating Station
W.R. Associates has engineered a new and innovative plating station for use on repetitive plating jobs.
This plating station allows for 4 plating steps to be run off a single positive lead wire from the power supply. Each of the beakers has its own lead retrieval system. With this arrangement, the operator can set up once and do a series of parts with a separate beaker, handle and anode for each of the prep steps. This system:
- Greatly reduces set-up and shut down time.
- Eliminates handle changeover hassles & delays during prep steps (critical to ensure proper adhesion).
