Training

Brush Plating is an operator dependent process. The effectiveness of the process in all environments is a function of the operators level of competency which is a direct reflection of the training received. After close study both LDC and WRA determined that training is best accomplished in the environment the operator will be working in. As a result training for certification is offered at the operator’s company facility. The training, when completed, certifies the operators to all of the brush plating controlling specifications.

In plant training is the recommended method training for 5 reasons:

  • More then one operator can be trained in the class at no additional cost.
  • The operator/s are trained in their operating environment.
  • The operator is trained on parts that he will be processing.
  • The support people for the process; quality control, supervision, engineering can sit in to better understand the process and to maximize the utilization and cost savings to the company from the process.
  • It is the most cost effective method of training for the company.
